This policy regarding the processing of personal data ("Data Protection Policy") describes how Sports Connection ApS ("Sports Connection", "Us", "Ours", "We") collect and process information about you.

The data protection policy applies to personal data that you submit to us or that we collect via Sports Connection's website, www.skechers.fi ("the Website").

Sports Connection is the data controller for your personal data. All inquiries to Sports Connection can be made via the contact details listed under section 7.

2. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT, THE PURPOSE AND THE LEGAL GROUNDS FOR DATA PROCESSING

When you visit the website, we automatically collect information about you and your use of the website, i.a. the type of browser you are using, the search terms you use on the website, your IP address, including your network location and information about your computer.

The aim is to optimize the user experience and Website functions and to implement targeted marketing, including retargeting via Facebook and Google. This processing of data is necessary to enable us to take care of our legitimate interest in improving the website and in showing you relevant offers.

The legal grounds for the data processing is Article 6, Chapter 1, Recital f of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you purchase a product or communicate with us via the website, we collect the data you provide, e.g. name, address, email address, phone number, payment method, information about the products you buy and have returned, delivery requests, and information about the IP address from which you are ordering.

The purpose is for us to deliver the products you have ordered and to otherwise fulfill our agreement with you, including managing your rights to return goods and lodge complaints. Information about your purchases can also be processed to comply with legal requirements and for accounting and auditing purposes. Upon purchase, the IP address is collected with the purpose of handling our legitimate interests and of preventing fraud.

The legal grounds for the data processing is Article 6, Chapter 1, Recital b, c and f of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect information about your name, e-mail address and, if applicable, mobile number.

The purpose is to take care of our interest in being able to deliver newsletters to you.

When signing up for our customer club, you will be prompted to provide e.g. your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, your preferences and interests, etc. In addition to your name, address and e-mail address, you choose which information you provide. During your membership, we collect information about your use of the customer club's benefits, competitions you participate in etc. We compare this data with other information we have about you, including information about your purchases and possible returns.

2.4.1
The purpose is to manage your membership and provide you with the services and benefits associated with the membership of our customer club as well as to take care of our interest in sending newsletters and implementing targeted marketing.

The legal grounds for the processing is Article 6, Chapter 1, Recital b and f of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When signing up, you will be asked to give special consent to electronic marketing.

3. RECEIVERS OF PERSONAL DATA

Information about your name, address, e-mail, phone number, order number and specific delivery requests will be communicated to PostNord, GLS or a carrier that handles the delivery of the purchased items to you.

Data may be transferred to external partners who process the data on our behalf. We use external partners for technical operations and website improvement, newsletters and targeted marketing, including retargeting, as well as for your assessment of our company and our products.
For example, information about your name and e-mail address is transferred to TrustPilot so that they may invite you to evaluate us on TrustPilot's website on our behalf. If you choose to make an assessment, TrustPilot becomes the data controller of the data you have provided.
These companies are data operators under our instructions and they process data for which we are data controllers. Data operators may not use the information for any purpose other than complying with their agreement with us and shall treat these data confidentially. We have entered into written data processing agreements with all data operators who handle personal data on our behalf.

The following data servers are established in the United States. The necessary guarantees for transfer of information to the United States are secured by the data operator's certification under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, cf. Article 45 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The right to access information

You are entitled at any time to request information about i.a. the data we have recorded about you, the purpose of the registration, the categories of personal data, possible recipients of the data and where the data came from.

You are entitled to receive a copy of the personal data we are processing about you. If you want a copy of your personal data, please send a written request to info@skechers.dk. You may be asked to confirm your identity.

The right to rectification

You are entitled to have any incorrect personal data about yourself corrected by us. If you become aware of errors in the data we have registered about you, we encourage you to contact us in writing so that the information can be corrected.

4.3.2
You can correct information collected by us in connection with your member registration in our customer club by logging in to your user profile.

The right to have data erased

In some cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal information erased by us, e.g. if you revoke your consent and we have no other legal grounds for continuing the processing. To the extent that it is necessary to continue processing your personal data, e.g. in order to fulfill our legal obligations or to enforce or defend legal requirements, we are not required to delete your personal information.

The right to restrict the processing to storage

In some cases, you have the right to limit the processing of your personal data to include storage only, e.g. if you believe that the information we process about you is incorrect.

The right to data portability

In some cases, you have the right to obtain personal data that you have provided in a structured, widely used and machinereadable format, and you may transfer this information to another data controller.

The right to oppose

You are always entitled to oppose our processing of your personal data intended for direct marketing, including profiling made to direct our direct marketing.

In addition, you may at any time object to the processing of your personal data that we undertake based on our legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation, cf. sections 2.1 and 2.3.

The right to revoke your consent

The right to complain

5. ERASING OF PERSONAL DATA

5.1
Data collected about your use of the website, cf. section 2.1., will be erased at the latest when you have not used the website for 26 months.

5.2
Data collected in connection with your signing up for our newsletter will be erased when you revoke your consent to the newsletter, unless we have other reasons for processing your data.

5.3
Data collected in connection with your purchases on the website, cf. section. 2.2, will as a starting point be erased 3 years after the end of the calendar year of your purchase. However, the data may be stored longer if we have a legitimate need for longer storage, e.g. if it is necessary to meet, enforce or defend legal requirements, or if storage is necessary for us to comply with legal requirements. Accounting data are stored for 5 years to the end of a fiscal year to meet the requirements of the Accounting Act.

5.4
Data that we have collected in connection with your registration and during your membership of our customer club, cf. section 2.4, will automatically be erased: a) If you have not logged in to your user profile for 3 years, b) If you deactivate (suspend) your membership of our customer club and do not reactivate it within the next 3 years, or c) if you end your membership of our customer club.

6. SECURITY

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent personal data, due to casualties or illegality, from being destroyed, disappearing, being corrupted, deteriorated, and to prevent it from getting into the wrong hands or being misused.

Your data are only accessed by employees who need access to your personal data in order to perform their work.
